Position Description – Sales Manager
A Sales Manager is working to drive Sales through increasing transient share and volume of group business with on-property services, site inspections and customer relations.
What will I be doing?
As a Sales Manager, your role will involve a combination of self-discipline, strategy, and day-to-day activities to ensure your contribution for team to meet or exceed set targets. Here are some key responsibilities you can expect:
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Sales Strategy
- Client Relationship Management
- Negotiation and Contract management
- Market research and Competitor analysis
- Sales reporting
- Collaboration with other departments
Requirements
What are we looking for?
A Sales Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Experience in a sales role with a proven record of accomplishment to close a sale
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Knowledge of local market
- Knowledge of hospitality
- Passion for sales and for achieving targets and objectives
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field
Experience
- Previous Sales experience is required
- Experience in Hospitality industry is preferred
